Heather Grandmont grew up in a small New England town in New Hampshire. She moved to Ohio and studied art at Bowling Green State University. Her mentor was Professor
Tom Muir, a renowned metalsmith; he helped direct her and provided many valuable resources. She was selected twice as one of the most outstanding art students at BGSU. While in college Heather focused on painting and metalsmithing, but today she dedicates her time and energy to making jewelry with a clean, contemporary design.
